The purpose of the conference was to provide a meeting place for experts who use PRIDE model of practise as a tool for improving the care for children in foster and adoptive families. More information about PRIDE can be found at www.cwla.org. Representatives of many European countries and USA  have been invited to a conference in Prague. The conference thus provided an opportunity to share examples of good practice, to gain inspiration for the further development of PRIDE implementation in the various national systems of care for children at risk. The costs of organizing the conference were covered by the EEA / Norwegian Funds program.
